Duke freshman Jabari Parker was named an All American by the USBWA. Parker was named to the first team, along with Arizona’s Nick Johnson, Creighton’s Doug McDermott, UConn’s Shabazz Napier, and Louisville’s Russ Smith. Parker is Duke’s twelfth USBWA All American since 2000 and fourth in the last five seasons. He’s the first Blue Devil named to the first team since Nolan Smith in 2011.
